Help Us Love Our Neighbors
We’re a small group with limited resources and many needs, so we need our neighbors to help us grow. Loving communities can only be built with the support of loving community members. Scroll down to see how you can help us love our neighbors.
This is the message we realized was missing in so many communities we’d called home, and it’s the message we want to convey to the world. You matter. You matter to us. You matter to God. You matter.
We started 1310 Ministries as our way of trying to put that message into the world through stories, worship, and the sharing of everyday life. Whether it’s in person here in Las Vegas, NV or over the internet through social media, we want people to know that they matter.
This is probably the most pressing need we have right now. We won’t be able to continue this work without supporters like you.
How Do We Spend Your Support?
Since we’re just starting out, monetary support we receive goes mostly to renting meeting spaces for Sunday worship services; purchasing communion, sanitizers, paper and ink, and other supplies; and supporting our minister. On a case-by-case basis, we do our best to meet immediate needs of community members, as well.
Where Do We meet?
We’re currently renting conference rooms in public libraries around the Las Vegas valley for Sunday morning worship services, which we stream live on Facebook.
Are You a 501(c)(3)?
Yes. As of January 19, 2022, we are official incorporated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization under the name 1310 Ministries.
Monthly giving is the easiest way to support 1310 Ministries. Recurring donations submit once a month and help us plan in advance based on what’s coming the following month.
We know that not everyone is able to donate regularly, and financial situations change. One-time donations are a great way to support 1310 Ministries during uncertain times.
If you live in Las Vegas, NV, check out our Events and social media pages to find out where we’ll be, or let us know where you’ll be so we can try to meet up. If you’re interested in helping with worship services, scroll down for suggestions.
None of us are trained song leaders or even particularly knowledgeable singers. If you have a passion for worship and singing, we’d love to have your help.
We’ve been doing this for decades, and we could use a little variety. If you’re interested in helping us reimagine our time of communion, we’d love to hear from you.
Sometimes those leading worship get sick or go out of town, and we need people to fill in. This is helpful for the service, as a whole, but it’s also a good chance to try something new.
